The Kingston University Christian Union was fantastic this week. The main CU meeting on Tuesday was jammed packed with over 50 students attending. We provide a cooked meal for the students but ran out of food and chairs because of the large numbers.
Lunch bars have started up this week and will be running throughout October. Lunch bars are great for reaching out to non-Christians. They come along and get a free lunch and each week hear a short talk on a topic (this week was the pursuit of happiness). We then share the Gospel with them and they have time afterwards to ask questions. Lunch bars are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Penrhyn Road and Kingston Hill campuses. They both kick off at 12:00pm. This first week had a great turnout. Praise the LORD!
Please pray that this would continue and that we would grow in our relationships with the people that come along, and that people would have a hunger and a thirst to find out more.
